The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics recommends “a total daily beverage intake of 13 cups for men and 9 cups for women. This amount is for generally healthy people living in temperate climates”. While there are other mitigating factors, this is a general starting point for obtaining good hydration. Exercise, hot climates as well as alcohol consumption are some factors to keep in mind and reasons to up your intake.

 

Ditch sugary drinks and caffeinated beverages and opt more for alkaline spring water, tea and fruit infused water for healthy hair, skin, brain health, healthy muscle, optimal digestion, less wrinkles, weight loss and stable body fluids. When we drink adequate water we embrace our inner Goddess and that nourishment creates a glow and a lightness that attracts the best and highest towards us.
