DISH WITH DIVARIA: AN OPEN LETTER        by Divaria

Dear Lolita Mag readers,

I’m writing this letter to you as the newly appointed relationship and advice “guru”… I use that word gently. The reason why, is that although I am called upon many times by colleagues, family, friends, and business owners, etc., I too, find myself in need of advice. So here we are, all wonderfully flawed individuals, that’s a scientific term, looking for guidance, hope, and encouragement, along our journeys in this strange yet abundantly beautiful world that we call earth. In today’s world of social media’s digitally dodgy mayhem, we seem to have bridged the gap from interpersonal relationships to just barely relating to one another. Being hyper consumed with images and sounds we sometimes forget that the sound of the person sitting right next to us might be the most beautiful or inspiring thing we’ve heard all day, if we but listen.

And listen we must….listen to our heart, listen to our mind, listen to our environment, listen to our friends and family, teachers, etc. Do we listen with the intent to hear? I should hope so. In the event that we do not, there will always be an ear, here at Lolita Magazine, ready to lend itself to your most confounding questions. Who are you? What do you want? What is your recent dilemma in school, church, the synagogue, the mosque, or work? What are you unanswered questions regarding matters of life, love, and relationships? I will help guide you to solutions with the hope that my insight will add value to your quest to become the best you in all things LIFE! No one is excluded and nothing is taboo. I will never make an offering that I don’t wholly believe in and in return, I ask you to remember that I am indeed…your humble “guru” servant.

Love,

Divaria
