As the fall season draws to a close, we reflect on the hustle and bustle that the season brings. With summer long gone, we dive in head first with so many plans. Our attention is focused on getting back to business. Immediately after Labor Day it seems as though we hit the ground running. So much to do, so little time. NY Fashion Week kicks off the season and then there all of the award shows. There's so much to do and never enough time. Honestly, once NY Fashion Week started, I was all over the place. Attending shows all day and parties all night...non-stop. By the third day I was in full fashion burn out mode. Alot of the plans we made a few months ago never came to fruition but in the end, we had a blast.

Fashion and the Fall/Winter season go hand in hand for me. I've always loved these seasons with regards to my wardrobe. I get to dress in layers, which I love. Out come the hats, scarves, jackets, boots and all of the things that summertime would not permit. So to kick off the new season, I decided to launch Lolita Magazine, an online resource for young women. A magazine that speaks directly to teens and young women by addressing thier issues. No topic is taboo and Lolita will always give it to you straight. I wanted to pay tribute to my friend Lolita Bloome, who at the age of 27 lost her battle with cervical cancer. Lolita was a vibrant young woman who always spoke her mind and never minced her words when it came to giving her opinion. She was a firm believer in stepping up for young girls and women and was an outstanding warrior on every front. This magazine promises to listen and be a voice for young women. I'm always looking for ways to make the magazine easier to access and still give you all the quality that you've come to expect from my publications. So check it out and give us some feedback, we're all ears.
